ASIAa brief summation!

Well, where do I begin? My name is still Asia Clyde, I have not yet married anyone or had any children thank goodness. I am dating a great guy who likes many of the same things that I do such as fishing, camping, and hiking. We both love sushi and go every other Friday. Moved into a house (yikes: year-long lease!) with one of my best friends and two close friends so hopefully we can make things work so far so good.

FUTURE PLANS?

This will be my last semester here at Great Basin College :( but I look forward to continuing my education in Portland, OR. Not that they don't have great programs here, but if you are a graphics major like me, the BA here tends to venture off the creative path and go straight into the dark woods of statistics, grant writing, and finance. So, this semester I am taking several classes over again so that I can touch-up (or work for a better grade) on my skills. After the semester is over, I will continue working and hoepfully save up some money.

WHY PORTLAND?

Basically because I have:

1.) A roommate/good friend moving up with me
2.) A job waiting for me and
3.) My parents full support behind me

My mom pretty much sat me down and told me that if I don't move away from Elko, if even for a short period of time, that I may get sucked into living here my entire life. Don't get me wrong, Elko is a great town, but only if you're raising a family, older or younger.

A POEM FOR YOU!

Summer grasses:
all that remains of great soldiers'
imperial dreams

On the white poppy,
a butterfly's torn wing
is a keepsake

The bee emerging
from deep within the peony
departs reluctantly
